Sleek Blushes Haul

I finally got hold of the most talked about blushes - Sleek! I have been reading so many great reviews about these blushes that i couldn't wait to get my hands on a few. I got mine at Updated Trends for P400.00 a piece. Sleek is a UK drugstore brand makeup, these costs only £3.50 (about P230.00) in UK. The price range of their products are really cheap, P400 for blushes and lippies, P500 for eyeshadow palettes, etc. There are very limited stocks of Sleek products in local online stores so make sure to grab what you like really fast. 

I love the packaging! They come in a really handy, compact matte casing. They don't look drugstore at all. I've swatched them already, and boy, are the colors lovely and very pigmented too! I promise to make separate reviews of each color. They look so pretty I want to dedicate a single post for each blush.

Look what came in the mail yesterday? I love NYX!

 

About 2 1/2 weeks ago i placed an order for some NYX stuff at nyxwholesale.ph. They sell NYX items at incredibly low prices. The downside though is that all of the items are pre-order so you need to wait at least 2-3 weeks for your orders to arrive.

 

How it works is that you place an order on their site, pay 70% of the total amount, and wait for your items to arrive. The remaining 30% you pay when your items arrive. What i really like about this site is that ordering is so easy, they regularly give you updates via email on the status of your orders, and they have store promos once in a while (they have one now until oct.31 only).

I love NYX cosmetics! They're really cheap and the quality is really great. What i am most happy about now is that they are so easy to purchase. I recall having to order from Cherry Culture before just to get hold of NYX items and pay ridiculous shipping fees from the US to the Philippines. I can't wait to review all of these!

Pre-Christmas Haul

About 2 months ago, I got a special 20% Off discount from drugstore.com via email. Now, i looove drugstore.com and find a real high online shopping for toiletries and my favorite drugstore makeup brands. I thought the 20% off was such a steal and i could not resist the urge to buy me some new toiletries. Besides, i was also already running low on my Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner so i had the perfect excuse. 

 

As usual, i had to avail of the co-loading service of the very accommodating Ms.Cat of My Online Shopper for my purchases. For the past months i have availed of Ms.Cat's Personal Shopper and Co-loading services for anything i'm buying from the US. Over the long holiday, i got a text message from Ms.Cat that the August batch has arrived. I was so excited! But since it was a holiday, the shipment had to be deferred til Sept.1. Come Thursday (Sept.2), i was so excited and was like a giddy child waiting for Santa and his presents. In my case, it was an Air21 guy and a Hebigat box containing my purchases. I was shocked at how an Air 21 truck can give me so much joy when i saw it pulling up in front of our office.

A chef friend of mine is in the US for trainee-ship for her cooking course. As a favor, I had her buy this for me from cherryculture.com and having been counting the days till she's home. And now she is! It's so great!

MAC Blushes Mini Haul

I'm a Blush and Lipstick person. 

I find that i'm almost always drawn to buying blushes and lipstick whenever I'm in Beauty Stores on when I'm online shopping. 

I'm slowly building my blush collection and as of, like right now, my two favorite blushes are MAC and NARS. So one rainy, lazy afternoon, i bought myself 3 new MAC blushes. I would've bought four, but stopped when hubby gave me the "your-shopping-again???-haven't-you-had-enough??" look and said "do you really need so much blushes? i'm sure you can live with only one"

Ahhhh MEN, they just DON'T understand.

NYX Haul 2

I hate slow, boring days... i'm always tempted to shop online.

Well Tuesday was one of those days, and guess where my lazy fingers brought me? 

To DigitalTraincase! I have only recently bought 3 lippies from Avon and 2 lippies from Maybellie so i didn't really need to buy any lippies this soon.. but when i visited the site, i couldn't resist! And so, i finally gave in to temptation and bought not one, but 5 (!) NYX lippies and 2 of their newest lippie, the Soft Matte Lip Cream Lipsticks! 

I just love NYX lippies! They're creamy, glides on smoothly and highly pigmented. And what's, they don't break the bank! If this keeps on, i might just end up collecting all colors!

It's gonna be a pretty busy week next week so i'm confident my online shopping will be on a hiatus... for a while. haha. I'll post reviews/swatches of them soon.

My First MAJOR Skinfood Haul

This was my first ever MAJOR Haul. i remember having called the Post Office soooo many times (like 5x a day for 3 days straight). So imagine my excitement when i finally got a text message from the Post Man that i had to pick something up in the Post Office!


This haul was a very early Christmas gift from dear hubby. haha. i was lucky to have found Ms.Wea in Istorya.net who happens to live in Korea and offers shopping services for Korean products. thanks to her, i was able to buy these Skinfood items at half the prices they are sold here in the Philippines.
